This ornament from 2010 is in remembrance of our first location, opened in 1899 served as a packing and shipping house for the agricultural products grown on Sanibel and Captiva in the late 1800s. This location was ON Matthews' Wharf right at the end of Bailey Road next to where we all drive onto the island at the causeway now over San Carlos Bay. This original store was washed away by a hurricane and our family rebuilt next to the wharf on land where the ferry landed. 

These ornaments were rescued from Bailey's after Hurricane Ian and were lucky enough to be placed on a shelf above the water line. They were untouched by storm surge.
